Experience the Best Waterfront Route in Seattle AND provide hope to women who are battling breast cancer!
Welcome to the 2015 Alki Beach 5k Walk and Run!
Celebrate a survivor. Honor someone you've lost to breast cancer. Support friends, family and co-workers. Our 5k walk and run raises money to help women get back on track financially, while dealing with the emotional and physical effects of breast cancer.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of Alki Beach & the West Seattle waterfront on this out-and-back 5k route from the Statue of Liberty at Alki Beach Park & the historic Bathhouse, along the waterfront to Anchor Park and back.
Your dollars support the NW Hope & Healing Patient Assistance Fund! Proceeds support the Healing Programs of NW Hope & Healing Foundation and help women who are fighting breast and gynecologic cancer in the Puget Sound area. For that reason we encourage all participants to set a $100 minimum fundraising goal. Although fundraising is not required, we hope you will join us in providing basic needs to women who are battling cancer. $25 provides a Healing Basket, $50 can buy groceries, $100 can keep the lights on and the phone connected, $250 may ensure childcare during treatment and recovery, and $500 can help prevent an eviction.
Register today, register and join breast cancer survivors, friends, family members and coworkers at our annual Alki Beach 5k Walk & Run.
If you'd rather not walk or run, you can still help by volunteering or donating in support of NW Hope & Healing. You'll be supporting a great cause and you're sure to have a good time.
Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to participate.

Breast Cancer Statistics
A woman will die from breast cancer every 13 minutes, & over 1 million women in the United States have died of this disease since 1970. Although every woman is at risk for breast cancer, the majority of breast cancer cases occur in women with no identifiable risk factors, & based on the current life expectancy for women in the United States, 1 out of 8 women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of West Seattle on our 3.1 journey. We have created a gorgeous waterfront 5K route (that's 3.1 miles), and our route includes Alki Beach and the restored Bathhouse, Alki Beach Park, Anchor Park, and stunning views of the Seattle waterfront.
Help raise money and awareness by participating in or contributing to our annual 5k walk/run. Our goal is to keep expenses and overhead to a minimum, allowing the majority of funds raised to go directly to the women who need it. Each runner/walker is asked to gather pledges of $100 or more. The money raised will enable us to assist breast cancer patients through their journey with personalized support.
